Tesla destination chargers are a network of AC chargers with a proprietary plug.
: They are typically offered as a complementary service for a hotel or restaurant or other ''destination''.
: For Tesla owners, these are relatively slow chargers compared to their Tesla Supercharger DCFC network, but for a Zero, this can mostly charge the bike at the maximum rate supported.
: Typically, the station offers 40, 60, or 80A service at 220V AC, yielding 9kW, 13kW, or 17kW.

The connector and protocol are very similar to [[J1772]] but do require an adapter to initiate the process correctly.
