Charge Failure After Blink Sequence

When the charge indicator blinks 4 or 5 times, and charging fails to start.

Cause
The charging fuse could be blown.
Recommendation
Find the charging fuse in the wiring harness, remove it from the heat shrink, and replace it.
It is unclear whether a resistance check can be easily performed to save time troubleshooting, but a voltage check should work.

  • Harness with charging fuse inside heatshrink

  • Harness with charging fuse, cut open

  • Harness with charging fuse, cut open, back

Owner Comment

SF Moto took 1.5 hours troubleshooting and then replaced the entire harness. Total cost about $650. The fuse is inside the thick heat shrink.
