On Gen2 models, power cabling connects the accessory charging port and the Onboard Charger (for 2014+ model years) to the main bus and then into the installed battery power packs.

On the SDS Platform, this charges the Monolith or Longbrick in the main compartment, and optionally the Power Tank in the tank area.
On the XMX Platform, this charges one or more removable Brick modules or a permanently installed Longbrick battery.
Safeguards
The batteries' contactors manage operational safety in normal conditions.
The circuit has an inline high voltage fuse for emergency over-current conditions.
Control
  • On 2013 models and the 2014FX, the CCU manages the charging circuit in coordination with the BMS.
  • On following year models, there is no CCU and the BMS controls charging.
