- Each route entered should have more stations/stops than a person would actually stop at. The theory is that it's easier to delete waypoints than to add them. Routes are implemented as Google Maps Short URL links, and Google Maps App now has the capability to route even when there's no internet connection as long as you call up the map before you lose connection.
- All of the stops have been entered into the E-touring meta-map (with links to plugshare.com, tesla.com, etc.)
- All routes should start and stop at reliable charging stations, J1772, Tesla Destination Chargers, and NEMA 14-50 RV plugs are common reliable charging options in North America.
