SDS Platform/Controller Uncovering

This uncovers the motor controller on the SDS Platform.

Warning:

This exposes high-voltage terminals that can damage tools, equipment, or cause injury or death if not de-energized. Ensure the bike is fully de-energized or that you are using professional methods and safety precautions.

Prerequisites

• Remove the seat

Tools

• Small Philips-head screwdriver (PH1)

Steps

1. Use the Philips head screwdriver to unfasten the rear end of the sheet just aft of the controller in the tail.
2. Pull up carefully to raise the edges out from under the tail frame's side rails.
3. (Optional) Wind the forward section of the plastic sheet counterclockwise around the AMPSeal 34-pin connector, pulling on the left.
